How consent works on this site
When you first visit, analytics and marketing cookies are off. Our cookie banner lets you accept all, reject all, or choose by category. Until you choose, no analytics or marketing cookies are set.
We use Google Consent Mode, which tells Google's tags whether they may store cookies. If you decline, Google tags may still send limited, cookieless signals, such as that a page was viewed, without identifying you. Meta and LinkedIn tags do not load at all unless you allow marketing cookies.
Your choice is saved in your browser's local storage for this site. To change it, select “Cookie settings” in the footer of any page.
Necessary
These keep the site working and remember your cookie choice. They do not need consent and cannot be switched off in our cookie banner.
- sao_consent_v1 (local storage, Saolabs): remembers your cookie choice. Kept until you clear it or change your choice.
- Booking calendar (Cal.id): when you open “Work with us” or “Book a partnership call”, the scheduling calendar from Cal.id loads and may set cookies it needs to show times and complete a booking. These are covered by Cal.id's own policies.
Analytics (only with your consent)
These help us understand which pages are useful, so we can improve the site. We use Google Analytics 4, loaded through Google Tag Manager.
- _ga (Google): distinguishes visitors. Usually expires after 2 years.
- _ga_<container-id> (Google): keeps session state. Usually expires after 2 years.
Marketing (only with your consent)
These measure whether our advertising works, for example whether someone who saw an ad later booked a call. They are set by advertising providers, loaded through Google Tag Manager, and only when you allow marketing cookies.
- Google Ads: _gcl_au and related cookies, used to attribute conversions. Usually expire after 90 days.
- Meta (Facebook) Pixel: _fbp and related cookies, used to measure ads on Meta platforms. Usually expire after 90 days.
- LinkedIn Insight Tag: li_sugr, bcookie, lidc and related cookies, used to measure ads on LinkedIn. Lifetimes range from 1 day to 1 year.
What we measure
With your consent, we record how the site is used: pages viewed, which sections are seen, clicks on buttons and links such as “Work with us” or “Join as an expert”, questions opened in our FAQs, and whether a call booking was started or completed.
We do not send your name, email address or booking details to analytics or advertising providers.
Third parties and transfers
Google, Meta, LinkedIn and Cal.id may process data from these cookies in the United States and other countries. Where required, transfers rely on safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses. See our privacy policy at /legal/privacy for more on international transfers and your rights.
Links to other sites, such as https://www.workor.ai, are covered by those sites' own cookie policies.
Changes to this policy
If we add, remove or change the cookies we use, we will update this page and the date at the top. Where a change needs fresh consent, we will ask again.
